Privacy Policy

The short version
PureMac does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Period.
Data Collection
PureMac collects no data whatsoever. The app:
- Has no analytics or telemetry
- Has no user accounts or sign-in
- Makes no network requests
- Does not track usage or behavior
- Does not access your contacts, calendar, or photos
Full Disk Access
PureMac may request Full Disk Access permission from macOS. This permission is used solely to scan protected folders (such as ~/Library) for system junk files. This access is optional — the app works without it, with reduced scanning coverage. No data from scanned folders is ever transmitted or stored outside your Mac.
File Operations
When you choose to clean files, PureMac moves them to your macOS Trash using the system's built-in trash mechanism. Files are never permanently deleted by PureMac. You can restore any cleaned file from your Trash.
Third-Party Services
PureMac uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, crash reporters, or advertising frameworks.
Open Source
PureMac is open source. You can review the entire codebase to verify these claims at github.com/yakupbulbul/PureMac.
App Store Purchases
If you purchase PureMac through the Mac App Store, Apple handles the transaction. PureMac does not receive or store any payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on App Store transactions.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Since PureMac collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
